The Painted Ladies are extending 5 one-day scholarships to its Great Alaskan Plein Air Retreat to KEF to award to 5 individuals.  Please contact KEF soon, as spots will fill up quickly, about this opportunity to spend a day in the Alaskan outdoors with professional artists in many mediums.  This will present a unique and enlightening experience for each recipient. Whether the student wishes to spend the day painting on their own or shadowing one of the artists, gleaning insight, tips, and techniques, this retreat offers an opportunity to witness other artists at work in the field in scenic locations around Southcentral Alaska. Each day-pass includes 3 meals in addition to the artistic experience and is valued at $49.00.

Retreat Dates: June 15-19, 2012

Some Painting Locations Include: Turnagain Arm, Independence Mine and Hatcher Pass, Matanuska Glacier, Reflection Lake, Talkeetna and others, weather permitting. One scholarship recipient is welcome to attend per day of the event.
