Action Precedes Motivation

Sometimes you feel like you are just waiting for something to spark your motivation. You feel like you only need to think about your assignment for a while and gather some ideas, and then eventually you will just do it. You tell yourself or your friends, “Im going to do it when I get motivated.”
It is amazing to find out what science says. Mayo clinic has done some studies on motivation and the theory that motivation proceeds action. Findings are actually that action precedes motivation.
So when you are struggling with assignments and projects piling up, consider that. Consider that it is really important to just map out a work plan, what you need to accomplish, make a timeline, and just do it.
